2026 ACJV update # 8

Hi everyone,

We got caught on the Christchurch side of the recent road closures. Thanks to Kate, Grant and and Ian for stepping in to take the service last week! Much appreciated! The silver linings were that we could attend our son's baptism in Christchurch and a scenic trip home via Murchison.

Emmaus Leadership Conference - Marlborough: 25 July

Emmaus is for anyone who serves and leads in our parishes: clergy, key leaders, youth and children’s leaders, elder care workers, wardens, vestry members, treasurers – whatever part you play, we’d love to see you there. Register

Bishop's Visit

Bishop Steve will be leading our service in Seddon on July 26. Bishop Steve is a dynamic preacher and always stays on after the service to spend time with us.

We've decided to cancel the service at St. Georges on Sunday 26th to give the whole parish the opportunity to gather in Seddon at 10 am.

Church of the Epiphany  (Seddon), 10 am.  (Children's programme every Sunday).

Next service at St. Peter's, Ward: Sunday August 2nd at 8 am. (Holy Communion).

Next service at St. George's: (Kekerengu) August 23rd, 8 am. (Holy Communion).

Next service at St. Oswald's: August 30 at 2 pm. (NZ Prayer Book service).

Womens Bible Study, Seddon

Raylene is facilitating a Bible Study on Monday mornings in Seddon. If you would like to attend please contact Raylene for details.

Youth & Families

What a blessing it is to be surrounded by vibrant and caring young people. We had a fun afternoon of food and games last week.

We've also been involved in a big youth event at Elim in Blenheim. ACJV did a mighty job of running the kitchen. Our young ones were inspired and encouraged in their faith.
